As part of the Russian Creative Week. Moscow Fest” in Gorky Park hosted the opening of the Thai pavilion, which presented the main areas of the country’s creative industries — cinema, animation, fashion, textiles, jewelry, ceramics and other traditional crafts. The purpose of Thailand’s participation in this event was to expand cultural and business ties. Mr. Sasivat Wongsinsawat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Russian Federation noted: “Our countries have many years of warm relations filled with deep respect and mutual understanding. The organization of the Thailand Pavilion is another important step towards the development of Thai-Russian relations in the field of creative industries. We see great potential in the issue of cooperation between our countries. I consider Russia a reliable partner and, moving in the same direction, we will benefit both peoples.”
The event presented fabrics created on the basis of the Textile Institute of Thailand, as well as the products of seven enterprises – both large, producing fabrics on an industrial scale, and small companies that create their products by hand: Kanz by Thaitor, Thai Num Choke Textile, Thai Taffeta, Perma Corporation, Greenville Trading. Among the masters of jewelry art, items created by the best craftsmen of the country were shown: Ten Fingers, Food For Soul, Sarran, Basic Teeory, Jittrakarn. The Cinema and Video Games section introduced Muscovites to films and animation produced in Thailand: The Power of the Nine Gods (The Legend of Muay Thai: 9 Satra); Love Destiny: The Movie and Happy Old Year.
