“Textilshchik” will play with “Mashuk-KMV” for the first time in the Second League

Tekstilshchik footballers from Ivanovo continue to play in the Silver Division of the Second League “A” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo will start in the Silver division for the second time in a row and will try to get a promotion in class. In the fall, “Textilshchik” was one of the favorites in the fight for promotion, but it was not possible to fulfill the task set by the management. Tekstilshchik took only 5th place, scoring 1 point less than Chelyabinsk. In the three starting rounds of “Silver”, the red-blacks scored 5 points and were in 3rd position.
In the fourth round, the Tekstilshchik players will test themselves in a meeting against the debutant of the Silver Division of the Second League “A”. The Ivanovo team will host opponents representing “Mashuk-KMV” from Pyatigorsk at their home arena. Teams from Ivanovo and Pyatigorsk previously met only in 2007, when both teams played in the First League. The meeting, scheduled for March 23, will be the first in history between Tekstilshchik and Mashuk KMV within the Second League.
Let us remind you that the fourth round match between Tekstilshchik and Mashuk KMV will take place on March 23. The start of the meeting is scheduled for 14:00 Moscow time.
