“Textilshchik” will play again in Dzerzhinsk in the spring

On November 11, the final match of the summer-autumn part of the 2023-2024 season was played by Tekstilshchik players from Ivanovo. The red-blacks played in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” and for several months fought for the opportunity to get promoted to the class. The red-blacks needed to take a place in the top 4 to enter the “Golden” division, but Igor Kolyvanov’s team failed to complete the task. “Textilshchik” took 5th place and remained in “Silver”.
In the spring, the team from Ivanovo will have to try their luck in the “Silver” division for the second time and play with new opponents. One of Tekstilshchik’s new rivals in the Silver division will be Khimik, representing the city of Dzerzhinsk from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The black-and-greens became the best team in group No. 2 and received a promotion based on sportsmanship. The last time “Khimik” and “Textilshchik” met in an official match was in September 2022. Then Tekstilshchik won with a score of 2:1.
