“Textilshchik” finished the tour in “Silver” in 5th position

Footballers from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” for the 2024 season. The team from Ivanovo started in “Silver” for the second time in a row and will try to get themselves a ticket to the “Golden” division, which will bring their return to the First League closer. In the fall, Tekstilshchik had an excellent chance of promotion and was a favorite, but was unable to fulfill the task set by the management. Tekstilshchik started the 2024 season more confidently, which should have a positive effect.

In the 5th round of the “Silver” division, the players of the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” visited Dzerzhinsk, where they fought for 3 points in a meeting against “Khimik”, which debuted at the Second League “B” level. The red-blacks went to Dzerzhinsk with the status of favorites, but they could not confirm their status. The meeting with Khimik from Dzerzhinsk ended in a goalless draw, which was absolutely logical and stemmed from the content of the game. Thus, Tekstilshchik scored 5 points and settled in fifth position, leaving ahead of the representatives of Kursk, Ulyanovsk, Dzerzhinsk and Kostroma.

The Tekstilshchik players will play their next match in Serebr on April 3. The red-blacks will host Irtysh from Omsk at their home arena.
