Testing of online voting system completed in Moscow

Testing of the system of remote electronic voting (DEG) has ended in Moscow. About it reported on the official website of the mayor of the capital.

Testing was conducted from 08:00 to 14:00 on August 25. In total, almost 430,000 people over 18 with permanent registration in the capital took part in it. During testing, Muscovites chose events for the City Day.

At the Public Headquarters for Election Observation in Moscow reported TASS that during the test there were no DDOS attacks, as well as failures and system overloads.

This year, the election of the mayor of Moscow will be held from 8 to 10 September. Participate in them will Acting Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin (from United Russia), Deputy Speakers of the State Duma Boris Chernyshov (from LDPR) and Vladislav Davankov (from New People), State Duma deputy, head of the Moscow branch of A Just Russia – Patriots – For Truth Dmitry Gusev and Moscow City Duma deputy, grandson of the Communist Party leader Leonid Zyuganov.

Sobyanin took office in October 2010 by presidential decree. Since then, he has been re-elected twice as a self-nominated candidate, and this year, for the first time, he ran for mayor from United Russia. Former press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov declaredthat the head of state Vladimir Putin highly appreciates the results of the work of the current mayor of Moscow.
