Tertyshny’s first goal of the season didn’t help Traktor in Ufa

“Tractor” depressingly started the away series in Ufa with a 4:6 defeat from “Salavat Yulaev”. The team is obviously in need of a change. The team is firmly registered at the very bottom of the Eastern Conference.

After a disastrous home series at Traktor, there have been changes in the coaching staff. So far, they have only affected Anvar Gatiyatulin’s assistants. Aleksey Tertyshny and Aleksey Chikalin were relieved of their posts, and were replaced by Andrey Sokolov and Igor Efimov. Both specialists worked with Gatiyatulin at different times.

The roster has also been rotated. In defense, only permutations in links, and in attack, changes in the application. Nikita Tertyshny returned to the second link, Mikhail Goryunov-Rolgizer was lowered to the third link, in the fourth instead of Mikhail Kotlyarevsky – Yegor Fateev. Ilya Proskuryakov returned to the goal, and Sergey Mylnikov, who played unsuccessfully in the last match, was out of the application.

In the first period, Salavat Yulaev marked his advantage with two goals. Pavel Koledov and Sergey Shmelev distinguished themselves at the beginning and end of the playing segment. Between them, Alexey Byvaltsev sold the majority of Traktor. The first point for an assist in the KHL was scored by Canadian rookie Chelyabinsk Rob Hamilton.

In the second period, the game leveled off and, as a result, the teams exchanged goals. The first and long-awaited goal of the season was scored by Nikita Tertyshny, while Danil Aimurzin scored for the hosts.

At the beginning of the third twenty-minute period, the “black and white” bounced back after an accurate shot by Albert Yarullin. But in the last ten minutes Traktor seems to have given up. Victor Antipin, Stepan Sannikov and Danil Bashkirov sharply made the score big. Even the goal of Ilya Karpukhin does not smooth out the failure of the Chelyabinsk team.

4:6 – Traktor’s fourth defeat in a row, of course, raises the question of whether the changes in the coaching staff are half measures. You can make excuses for a long time by the departure of legionnaires, but in Chelyabinsk you can’t complain about the lack of talent. The current leadership is extremely reluctant to give a chance to the young, although local pupils are progressing in many teams this season. In Traktor, 17-year-old Yaroslav Yapparov sits on the bench for six matches. The season is at the equator and most likely it has already been lost. The club needs to be rebuilt and work for the future.

Traktor will play the next match on December 4 in Omsk against Avangard.
