Terrible details of an attempted kidnapping of an 8-year-old girl were revealed: sister saved

An attempted kidnapping in Chita of an 8-year-old girl was thwarted only thanks to her older sister, who was nearby. The little girl called her, and the intruder hastened to retreat. The police figured out the stranger who molested the girl a few days later, he was charged with “attempted kidnapping” of the child. “MK” found out the details of this state of emergency with a happy ending.

The little girl was lucky that her 13-year-old sister, with whom she was walking in the yard, arrived in time. Local publics hastened to paint this story, telling how the older girl “beat and kicked the attacker, recaptured her sister from the pedophile and thereby saved her,” but the investigation did not confirm this.

As MK was told in the Investigative Committee of the ICR in the Trans-Baikal Territory, at about 2 p.m., the attacker “fraudulently tried to kidnap an 8-year-old girl”:

He invited the girl to go with him to the car, where he would show her the kitten. Suspecting something was wrong, the girl refused to go with the stranger, then he tried to force the child to go with him, but the girl began to resist and called out to her 13-year-old sister. Seeing her, the man fled.

“They were walking in the courtyard of the house, and when the eldest was distracted for a few seconds, a man approached the second grader,” said one of the residents of the area. – The girl’s parents, apparently, warned about such dangers, and she refused to go with him, but the man grabbed her by the arm and tried to take her by force. Then she screamed loudly and called her older sister. She was close, about 30 meters away. The attacker, seeing that the girl was not alone, released the youngest and disappeared.

The girls told their parents about the crime, who contacted law enforcement agencies. It took the police several days to find the man, after which he was able to figure out – with the help of CCTV cameras. The arrest took place on Saturday 22 July.

The stranger who molested the child turned out to be a 31-year-old Chita man. Investigators reported that he partially pleaded guilty to the crime he was charged with. The investigation committee refused to give details of the interrogation, citing the fact that the investigation had just begun.

“MK” found out that the young man had no previous convictions, he had no family, he worked as a storekeeper in an electronics store of a well-known network.

“So far, no negative points have been identified in his biography that could alert the authorities,” said our interlocutor, close to law enforcement agencies. – In the first approximation, he looks quite normal, an ordinary guy.

The accused will stay in the pre-trial detention center until September 20, while the investigation is ongoing.

Chita publics report that in total, in the family of the injured girl, in addition to two sisters, there are two more children. There is no father, and mother is unemployed. But this family is not registered as dysfunctional.

– Concerning the admission of guilt: in the course of investigative actions (searches from the place of residence and work), evidentiary information about other episodes of criminal activity, including against children, may be obtained. When examining seized PCs, phones, cloud storages of information (according to the results of computer-technical and other examinations), irrefutable evidence can be obtained.

Child psychologists meanwhile recall the rules that parents should instill in their children:

– You can not go with a stranger into the entrance and the elevator.

– You can’t talk to strangers on the street at all – be it a man, a woman or a teenager.

– You can’t let a stranger into the apartment, you should immediately call your parents or neighbors if the child is alone at home.

– You can’t accept any gifts, treats, toys from strangers. It must be explained that attackers can use a variety of “legends”.

– You can not agree to go somewhere with an unknown person if he came to pick up the child at school or kindergarten, and the parents did not warn about this in advance.
