Fans and tennis players will be banned from displaying the Russian flag at tournaments in the UK
At tournaments organized by the UK Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), no one will be able to display the flags of the Russian Federation and Belarus. Such restrictions are reported on the website of the organization.
LTA notes: the tournaments will have a zero tolerance policy for any flags, symbols or other actions in support of the Russian Federation, Belarus or the NWO. Such a requirement would apply to any person, including spectators and tennis players themselves.
The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club previously announced the admission of players from Russia and Belarus to participate in the 2023 Wimbledon tournament in a neutral status. In addition, the Russians and Belarusians will have to “observe the relevant conditions,” according to a statement on the club’s official website.
