Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev beat his compatriot Karen Khachanov with a score of 6:3, 3:6, 6:3 in the quarterfinals of the ATP-500 tournament in Vienna. The match lasted 2 hours 17 minutes.
In the semi-finals, Medvedev will meet the winner of the match between Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas and Croatian Borna Goyo.
Medvedev is the current champion of the tournament in Vienna. Apart from him, the only Russian remaining in the tournament is Andrei Rublev, who today, October 27, will compete for access to the semi-finals with German tennis player Alexander Zverev.
