Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) published updated ranking of the strongest players. The main change: Russian Daniil Medvedev lost third place to Italian Jannik Sinner.

Sinner became world number three after beating Australian Alex de Minaur in the final of the ATP tournament in Rotterdam the day before. Medvedev did not compete at this tournament. He withdrew, saying he had not recovered enough from the Australian Open. Let us remember that Medvedev lost to Sinner in the final.

In the new rating, Medvedev is 5 points behind Sinner – they have 8265 and 8270 points, respectively. Serbian Novak Djokovic (9855 points) and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz (9105 points) remained the leaders of the ranking.

Russian Andrey Rublev retained fifth place (5105 points), Karen Khachanov – 17th (2010 points). Roman Safiullin rose from 39th to 38th place (1080 points). Aslan Karatsev moved down two positions and now occupies 39th place.
