Telescope Array scientists have discovered a powerful cosmic ray of unknown nature

Experts from the University of Utah reportedthat an international team of Telescope Array project researchers and scientists has detected the second most powerful cosmic ray ever observed.
Scientists clarified that at the moment the nature of this beam cannot be determined.
“We traced the trajectory of the new particle to its source. During our work, we were unable to identify anything with a high level of energy to produce it. What the hell is going on? – said Telescope Array spokesman John Matthews.
According to another scientist, these could be defects in the structure of space-time, for example, cosmic strings between which a collision occurs.
“However, there is currently no generally accepted explanation for these phenomena,” added Professor John Belz.
