Telegraph: Truss urged Britain to tighten China policy

Judging by the publication, Truss, who has set a record for the shortest tenure as head of government (49 days), is still going public with the same baggage: he will demand tough measures against China.
The Telegraph reports that in the near future Truss will hold several public speeches, during which he will dwell on a topic that he willingly discussed earlier both as prime minister and as foreign trade minister. As the newspaper foresees, the ex-premier will convince the audience of the alleged direct threat to the security of Great Britain from China. Among these speeches will be a speech in Tokyo.
At the same time, the Telegraph notes that the current Prime Minister Rishi Sunak recognizes the Chinese “systemic challenge to the values and interests” of the country and even the threat to the “economic security” of Britain, but nothing more.
