Telegraph: Russia’s successes may force the West to refuse assistance to Ukraine
Western countries may stop providing assistance to Ukraine because of Russia’s successes, a British newspaper columnist believes Telegraph Robert Clark. He notes that a failed offensive by Ukrainian troops, a revival of the Russian economy and diminishing Western attention have left Ukraine in a significantly worse position than a year ago.
Clark suggests that Western politicians are beginning to lose patience and are not providing adequate military and economic support to Kyiv. He notes that while Western economies are trying to recover from the pandemic and energy crisis, Russia is surpassing the European Union and Ukraine in production.
The columnist believes that the coming year could end for Kyiv with a cruel betrayal by the West.
