The first part of the 2023-2024 season in the Second League ended in mid-November. Ivanovsky “Textilshchik” played in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A” and applied for promotion to the class based on the results of the stage. During the summer and autumn period, the red-blacks were close to getting into the top 4, however, based on the results of all 18 matches played, they remained outside the boundaries of promotion. The Tekstilshchik players lost their chance to move to Zoloto 1 round before the finish.
In December, the Tekstilshchik press service was mainly engaged in summing up the results and publishing information about changes in the structure and composition of the club. Fans do not know when their team will return from vacation and begin preparations for the spring stage of the championship. Considering that the break has been shortened by a month compared to last year, then training camps need to start in mid-February.
On the final day of 2023, the plan for preparing for the spring part of the season was announced by Tekstilshchik’s opponent in the Silver division. “Khimik from Dzerzhinsk” will return from vacation on January 14 and will hold 3 training camps before the start of official matches. The first training camp will take place in the Nizhny Novgorod region, and the remaining 2 will take place in the south of Russia.
