Tekstilshchik’s opponent from Dzerzhinsk will play against the First League club

The winter off-season is still underway in Russian football, but it is already felt on all fronts that very soon the teams will leave the warm regions and return to Russia in order to resume the championship in all professional leagues. For the first time in a long time, all three Russian professional leagues will hold the opening official matches of the year in early March. This happened due to the reform of the Second League, which increased the number of matches in the spring. Thus, Tekstilshchik and its rivals will begin the spring part of the season on March 2.
Tekstilshchik’s rivals for the upcoming championship in the Second League “A” of the “Silver” division are also preparing for the season. On February 20, the test match will be played by interesting debutants from Dzerzhinsk, who became triumphants of group No. 2, where Tekstilshchik was listed before the reform. Representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod region will have to test their strength against the background of the strong middle peasant of the First League from Nizhnekamsk. Neftekhimik finished the first part of the 2023-2024 season in 11th position and, most likely, will not fight for transition matches, but this fact does not make the team from Tatarstan weaker.
The control match between Khimik and Neftekhimik will take place on February 20. The meeting is scheduled to start at 17:30 Moscow time.
