The Ivanovo Tekstilshchik football players continue preparing for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season. The Ivanovo team returned from vacation on January 12 and began the educational and training process, which was supposed to enable the players to regain the shape they lost during the long vacation. This time the players rested for 1.5 months, which could not but affect their condition. As part of the training camp, which took place in Novorossiysk, Igor Kolyvanov’s team laid the foundation for physical readiness and played 6 test matches with opponents of different levels.
On February 22, Tekstilshchik Ivanovo will play in the penultimate test match of the winter off-season. Igor Kolyvanov’s team will look at themselves in a meeting against Metallurg Lipetsk, which took a place in the top 4 in the autumn stage of the Silver division and received the right to compete in the Gold division. In 2 matches against Metallurg, the Tekstilshchik players scored 4 points and never lost, but remained in Serebr, and the club from Lipetsk was promoted.
Let us remind you that the test match between Tekstilshchik and Metallurg will take place on February 22. The meeting is scheduled to start at 16:00 Moscow time.
