Tekstilshchik will play against Rodina in the 1/32 finals of the Russian Cup

On September 15, the Russian Football Union conducted the draw procedure for the 1/32 final round of the Path of Regions of the Russian Cup. At this stage, First League clubs enter the fight for one of the most prestigious football trophies in Russia and meet with representatives of the Second and Media divisions. Igor Kolyvanov’s team managed to beat Dynamo Vologda with a score of 2:1, and on September 15 they found out their opponent in the 1/32 finals of the Path of Regions of the Russian Cup.
For the right to play in the 1/16 finals of the Path of Regions of the Russian Cup, Ivanovo’s Tekstilshchik will play against Rodina, representing Moscow. The club from the capital took 5th place in the last season of the First League and claimed to qualify for the Mir-RPL, but lost to Paris Nizhny Novgorod on aggregate in two play-off matches.
The match of the 1/16 finals of the Russian Cup will be hosted by Ivanovo, and the Tekstilshchik press service names September 27 as the approximate date for the match. Now Moscow Rodina is led by Dmitry Parfenov, who worked with Tekstilshchik from 2012 to 2015.
