Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the current season and immediately began to show excellent results, settling in the first half of the standings. Based on the results of 40 matches played, the Tekstilshchik volleyball players could only take 4th place, losing to their opponents from Grozny, Obninsk and Makhachkala. For a long time, Tekstilshchik was third, but dropped due to a series of defeats at the finish line.
On April 16, the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” will start in the “Final Six” of the Russian Championship among teams of the Major League “B”. The red-blacks continue to chase medals, but now everything is much more serious than it was. Tekstilshchik volleyball players will have to compete with their best and strongest opponents. In the first match, the red-blacks will play against Dagestan, which became the best in the regular season, breaking away from 2nd position by a large number of points.
