Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the current season and was immediately able to become one of the strongest representatives in the league. From the first matches, the red-blacks began to win and climb up the standings. Based on the results of 24 matches played, the Tekstilshchik volleyball players scored 55 points and suffered only 6 defeats. In the standings, Tekstilshchik is second only to Obninsk and Dagestan.
The second round of the Major League “B” in 2024 will be played by Tekstilshchik volleyball players at their home arena. The matches will take place on the parquet floor of the Palace of Team Sports, and Tekstilshchik will host in its home arena rivals representing VC Apsny and Kolos from the Stavropol Territory. The red-blacks must definitely defeat their rivals in order to defend 3rd place and not let VK Grozny, who intends to score points in meetings against RCSP and Dynamo-MGTU from Maykop, approach them.
