Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the 2023-2024 season and immediately began to show excellent results, gaining a foothold in the first half of the standings. At the moment, Tekstilshchik Ivanovo ranks 3rd in the standings, behind only Obninsk and Dagestan. If it is no longer possible to catch up with competitors from Makhachkala, then it is still possible to get ahead of Obninsk.
On March 2 and 3, the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” volleyball players will host the most important matches in the club’s still very short history. The red-blacks will host opponents representing VC Obninsk at their home arena. One of the best teams of last season currently ranks 2nd in the regular season standings, scoring 2 points more than Tekstilshchik. The only meetings between Tekstilshchik and Obninsk in official matches ended in defeats in four and five games.
Let us remind you that on March 2 there will be a meeting of the regular championship of the Major League “B” between “Textilshchik” and “Obninsk”. The meeting is scheduled to start at 17:00 Moscow time.
