Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the 2023-2024 season and was immediately able to become one of the strongest representatives of the league, gaining a foothold in the first half of the standings. The Ivanovo team rarely loses and almost always defeats its rivals, who have been playing at the Major League “B” level for several seasons in a row.
The Tekstilshchik volleyball players also successfully held a home tour, which took place from January 25 to 28 on the parquet floor of the Palace of Team Sports. The red-blacks faced Kolos and VK Apsny, which was located in the second half of the standings. In all four meetings, Tekstilshchik won confident victories, confirming the status of one of the leaders of the regular season and a contender for 2nd position according to its results. Four victories in a row had a beneficial effect on the tournament position of Tekstilshchik, which secured 3rd place and reduced the gap from 2nd position to 1 point.
Tekstilshchik volleyball players will play their next matches of the regular season from February 11 to 14. In Obninsk, the red-blacks will play against VC Rostov-Volei and Kristall-Cherkizovo.
