Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made their debut at the professional level during the current regular season and was immediately able to loudly declare themselves, settling in the first half of the standings. The Tekstilshchik volleyball players finished 2023 in 3rd position in the Major League “B” standings, second only to their rivals Makhachkala and Obninsk.
In the first official matches of 2024, the volleyball players of the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” met with their closest neighbors in the standings from Obninsk. In the first round, Tekstilshchik beat VK Obninsk twice, but this time the opponent of the Ivanovo team was more serious and was able to take convincing revenge. First, Obninsk won with a score of 3:2, and the next day allowed Tekstilshchik to win only one game.
The defeats in Obninsk did not affect Tekstilshchik’s position in the Major League “B” standings. The Red-Blacks still occupy 3rd place, 5 points ahead of their competitors from Grozny.
