Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to compete in the Russian Championship among teams of the Major League “B”. The 2023-2024 season was the red-black’s debut at the professional division level. The team from Ivanovo successfully started the season of the Major League “B”, winning 4 victories in 6 official matches. First, Tekstilshchik won victories in double matches against VC Tyumen, and then turned out to be stronger than Grozny. The red-blacks lost in the meetings against Dagestan, which settled in 2nd position.
From November 2 to 5, Tekstilshchik was supposed to play in the 3rd round matches, but it was postponed for a week. During the downtime, the position of Ivanovo’s Tekstilshchik in the standings changed. The red-blacks took 5th place, but following the results of the 3rd round matches, held in another city, Tekstilshchik dropped to 6th position. The Tekstilshchik volleyball players were ahead of their rivals representing Dynamo-MSTU from Maykop.
Let us remind you that the Tekstilshchik volleyball players will play matches of the 3rd round of the Major League “B” on November 8, 9, 10 and 11. The red-blacks will play against Rostov-Volei and Kristall-Cherkizovo.
