Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its professional debut during the current regular season and immediately began to show excellent results, achieving great success. The red-blacks beat opponents who had previously played at the Major League B level for several years in a row. Tekstilshchik finished 2023 in 3rd position, behind only VK Obninsk and Dagestan. During 2024, Tekstilshchik lost to Obninsk and left no chance for their opponents in the home arena.
In the final match of the home tour of the Major League “B”, the Tekstilshchik volleyball players played for the second time against VK Kolos from the Stavropol Territory. The fans who gathered in the stands of the Palace of Team Sports were able to see with their own eyes the confident victory of Tekstilshchik over Kolos with a score of 3:0. There were no questions for the Tekstilshchik players in this match, given that Kolos scored a maximum of 19 points, which they did during the first game. In the remaining periods of the game, the red and black allowed the opponent to score 12 and 16 points.
The next matches of the Major League “B” will be played by the Tekstilshchik volleyball players in Obninsk. The red-blacks will play against Rostov-Volei and Kristall-Cherkizovo from February 11 to 14.
