Volleyball players from Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue to play in the regular championship of the Major League “B” for the 2023-2024 season. The team from Ivanovo made its debut at the professional level in the 2023-2024 season and was immediately able to gain a foothold among the strongest representatives of the league. The red-blacks showed from the first matches that debutant status does not apply to them. “Tekstilshchik” beat almost all its opponents who played in the Major League “B” for several years in a row.
On February 12, the red-blacks played their second match of the tour in Obninsk. The red-blacks met with opponents from Voronezh, whom they lost in the first round. This time the match was no easier for Tekstilshchik, but it ended with a positive outcome and a dry victory. The two opening games turned out to be nervous, when Tekstilshchik was able to win, but allowed Kristall-Cherkizovo to score 22 and 23 points. In the third period of the game, Tekstilshchik won more convincingly, ending the game with a score of 25:18.
In the next match of the Major League “B” the Tekstilshchik volleyball players will play against “Rostov-Volei”. The match will take place on February 13 and will begin at 15:00 Moscow time.
