The youth team of Ivanovo “Tekstilshchik” continues to play in the Russian Football Championship among the teams of the “Golden Ring” group. On September 6, the Red-Blacks played in the match of the 15th round against the youth team from the structure of the Yaroslavl “Shinnik” – one of the weakest in the most part of the 2023 season.
Before leaving for Yaroslavl, it became known that the Tekstilshchik youth team was having big problems with the squad. Many players were unable to go to Yaroslavl due to personal difficulties or injuries that plagued the red-blacks throughout the spring and summer, which is the result of an energy-intensive game on two fronts.
The coaching staff of the youth team was forced to ask for help from Igor Kolyvanov. Dmitry Shilov and Ivan Selemenev were sent from the main team to the away match of the Golden Ring Championship. Both came out against “Shinnik-m” in the starting lineup, and the red-blacks had only 3 players left to replace.
