The players of the Ivanovo “Textilshchik” continue preparations for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season in the “Silver” division of the Second League “A”. The Ivanovo team returned from vacation on January 12 and began the training process, recovering from a long vacation that had been going on since mid-November. At the first training camp in Novorossiysk, Tekstilshchik played 6 control matches and won 3 victories, being stronger than FC Vista, Druzhba from Maykop and the reserve team of FC Rostov. At the training camp in Turkey, the red-blacks continue to get in shape through friendly matches.
On February 22, Ivanovo “Textilshchik” played another test match and this time tested their strength against the background of a participant in the “Golden” division of the Second League “A”. Igor Kolyvanov’s team played against Metallurg Lipetsk, who played in Serebr in the fall. The club from Lipetsk advanced to Zoloto, and in the control match showed its superiority over Ivanovo’s Tekstilshchik. If the first half ended without goals, then in the second period of the game Metallurg knocked out the Ivanovo players, scoring 3 goals. The final whistle sealed Metallurg’s victory with a score of 4:0.
Let us remind you that the first official match in 2024 will be held by Ivanovo Tekstilshchik on March 2. The red-blacks will host Dynamo Bryansk at their home arena.
