In the summer of 2023, there was a large roster rotation in the Ivanovo Tekstilshchik due to the fact that many players from the previous convocation of the red-blacks planned to enter the First League, but the club under the leadership of Igor Kolyvanov was unable to complete the task and remained in the Second League. The selection service of Tekstilshchik did a good job and found a large number of players for Igor Kolyvanov who played at the highest level.
The most respectable and titled newcomer of Tekstilshchik was midfielder Dmitry Efremov, who managed to play in the Champions League against Real Madrid and made his debut in the Slovak Championship, distinguishing himself in the Europa League match. In the 2022-2023 season, Dmitry played for Volga Ulyanovsk, which finished the championship in the relegation zone. As a result, Dmitry accepted the offer from Tekstilshchik, but after just a few matches he was injured and dropped out until the end of the summer-autumn part of the season.
Dmitry Efremov spoke about Ivanovo.
“My family and I spent a couple of weeks there. It’s a small town, but there’s enough of everything: there are several parks, an embankment. We found a kindergarten for my daughter, but it didn’t work out. I was injured, and now we’re staying in Moscow,” Kolyvanov said.
