Ivanovo “Tekstilshchik” on June 24 began summer training camp to prepare for the new season of the Second League. The 2022-2023 season turned out to be unsuccessful, Tekstilshchik was unable to complete the task and return to the First League, where before that it had played for three consecutive seasons.
The red-blacks were able to successfully complete the autumn part of the 2022-2023 season, having won in their group. In the spring “Tekstilshchik” was one of the favorites in the struggle for access to the First League, but took only 4th place.
From June 24 to June 30, about 10 players left Tekstilshchik’s location, the fans took this news very painfully, but they got a real shock after the post about the departure of Yan Gudkov, the team’s “motor” in attack.
Fans began to openly insult the players, calling them careerists who fought for themselves, not for the team, calling the current Tekstilshchik squad one of the worst in the club’s history.
