In the finals, the girls’ team “Olimp” from Kotlas school No. 7 put up a worthy resistance to the favorites of the tournament – basketball players from the Arkhangelsk school No. 14 of the Fakel team. This dynamic match ended with a score of 54:39 in favor of the home team.
Basketball players of the Arkhangelsk school No. 11 of the Fakel team, as well as the Kotlas Olympus of the school No. 7 fought for the gold medals among the young men. Basketball players of “Torch” literally swept away the enemy, confidently leading from the first to the last minute of the meeting. So the first quarter ended with a dry score of 33:0. The result of the match is 107:13 in favor of Alexander Sukhanov’s wards.
The honorable third place among the boys was taken by the team of Lyceum No. 17 of Severodvinsk. Severodvinsk confidently won the meeting with the team of the MOU “Pavlovskaya School” of the Kargopol district 54-32. Among the girls, the bronze medal was won by the team of the Konosha school named after N.P. Laverov. She took over the team of the Severodvinsk school No. 2 with a score of 76:28.
