Graduate Olesya Blinova from Vologda is the only 300-point USE student in Russia in 2023. Perhaps this regiment will arrive after the results appear in all subjects for which points have not yet been calculated. But so far she is the only one who scored the maximum scores in three subjects at the Unified State Examination – specialized mathematics, Russian language and chemistry. “MK” talked with the leadership of the lyceum, where Olesya studied, her teachers and friends, in order to understand what the secret of the 11th grader is.
Olesya studied in a class with in-depth study of natural science subjects, specialized in chemistry. As director of the Vologda multidisciplinary lyceum Anton Makaryin told MK, their graduate is a multiple winner of university school Olympiads, a winner of the regional stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in biology, a winner of the All-Siberian Olympiad, a winner of the Pirogov Olympiad … Olesya not only studied, but also studied science – research work in chemistry and biology. In the certificate of secondary education, she has all the marks “excellent”.
– It turns out that Olesya already had an impressive baggage of successes by the time of the exam. You are probably not so surprised by the result?
– We expected that she would pass the exam perfectly, but, of course, we did not expect that she would have the highest score in three subjects … Now we are waiting for the result of the fourth exam she took, biology. As far as I know, she knows biology even better than chemistry. Olesya is going to enter a medical school. She has an advantage in entering the 2nd medical school (Pirogovsky Medical University) out of competition as the winner of the Pirogov Olympiad.
According to the director of the lyceum, the girl is “modest, but she has many friends, everyone is friends with her.”
Olesya is not the only child in the family. As it became known to MK, her older brother graduated from the same lyceum a few years ago and also with high scores in the Unified State Examination. At one time he was the winner of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Mathematics. Their mother graduated from the Vologda State Pedagogical University, in different years she worked in tax organizations.
We asked her first teacher and friends about Oles Blinova.
– Smart. Beautiful. Winner. A man with a rod, – the primary school teacher and deputy director of the lyceum Svetlana Pribylova, who taught Olesya in elementary school, spoke about her. – From the first grade, she was diligent, very responsible, accurate. I was not surprised by her result in the exam, it is natural. Thanks to Olesya for an example to all other children!
– Wasn’t she obsessed with her studies?
– No, it cannot be said that she was all only in her studies. She showed herself from the best communication side, from childhood. Always with a smile on her face, always positive towards people, she has many friends. Kind, sociable, hardworking, she constantly participated in various intellectual competitions and olympiads. In general, a comprehensively developed girl!
What about nerves and excitement? After all, the excitement just prevents many graduates from taking the exam …
Conscious people are always calm. I believe that calmness and self-confidence is the secret of Olesya’s success.
“Very kind and sympathetic, always ready to help in a difficult situation, for example, with the solution of a difficult Olympiad problem,” said Mikhail Orlov, a graduate from St. Petersburg, who knows Olesya from joint trips to educational programs. – And she is also a very pleasant companion, you can talk with her on any topic! She, in addition to studying, also goes in for swimming, and she also has success there …
Another friend of hers, Anastasia Nakhatova, spoke about her hobbies in addition to chemistry and biology:
– She is an example of how you can combine study and fun! She goes in for sports and dances very well. I am glad that I know such a positive, sociable and purposeful person!
… One of the residents of Vologda expressed regret in his comment that “the poor girl had neither childhood nor youth, only books and textbooks.” But her acquaintances retorted: “When a person is collected, he manages to do everything – to study, to engage in social life, and to relax.
