In 2023, tax revenues to the Russian budget amounted to 46.8 trillion rubles, which is 11.3% higher than in 2022, the press service of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation reported.
“The consolidated budget of the Russian Federation received 36.2 trillion rubles. with an increase of 2.6 trillion rubles. (by 7.7%), to the federal budget – 19.6 trillion rubles. (an increase of 208.9 billion rubles, or 1.1%),” the message says (quoted from TASS).
Budget revenues from corporate income tax increased by more than 24%, VAT – by 11%, and personal income tax – 14%. In 2023, the budget received 400 billion rubles, which is 2.3% higher than in 2022. More than half of these revenues, 218 billion rubles, were clarified by taxpayers themselves.
February 29, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov reportedthat the ministry is already preparing proposals on taxation after a corresponding statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to Mr. Siluanov, the initiatives announced in the President’s Address to the Federal Assembly will not lead to budget imbalance.
