In February, due to illness, she missed the All-Russian Spartakiad of the Strongest in Magnitogorsk.
Tarasova is a coach of many famous figure skaters. Among her students are Alexey Yagudin, Irina Rodnina and Alexander Zaitsev, Ilya Kulik, Oksana Grischuk and Evgeny Platov.
