The restaurant chain “Vkusno – toka” has temporarily closed its establishments in Belgorod amid increasing shelling from Ukraine, writes TASS with reference to the network’s press service. There are four chain establishments in the city.
The message “Tasty – period” says that the decision was made in order to protect visitors and employees. All employees will continue to receive wages, the press service noted.
Today, March 19, the governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced the evacuation of 9 thousand children from the region due to attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces. According to him, on March 22, 1.2 thousand children will leave for Penza, Tambov and Kaluga. Then they will be transported to the Stavropol Territory. The day before, the governor reported that 600 civilians were evacuated from the Grayvoronsky urban district to temporary accommodation centers. According to Mr. Gladkov, 16 people were killed in the region over the past week, and another 98 were injured.
