According to TASS, the titanium building of the station was not damaged in the fire. This will ensure the previous maximum immersion depth. However, in order to avoid risks, the immersion depth can be slightly reduced.
The accident at AC-31 occurred on July 1, 2019 in the Barents Sea. 14 hydronaut officers were killed, four of whom were posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Russia.
