Tarasova: it’s a pity that Trusova thinks only about money

Honored Coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova expressed regret that Olympic silver medalist Alexandra Trusova is now thinking only about money.
The figure skater today in Moscow took part in a friendly hockey match at the opening of the skating rink at the Russian Railways Arena. Trusova, together with her father Vyacheslav, played for the Lokomotiv club team.
“This is all done for the sake of PR,” says Tarasova. “I don’t think we’ll see her at competitions again.” It’s a pity!” The last time the Olympic medalist participated in tournaments was in November 2022 – it was the Russian Grand Prix stage in Samara.
“At such a young age, she only wants to earn money,” added the renowned coach. “I’m very sorry that she doesn’t want world recognition.”
