Honored coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova said that she considers those who advocate the boycott of the Paris Olympics to be sick people.
The famous figure skating coach spoke unambiguously in favor of participating in international competitions, emphasizing that “we will win the flag and the anthem for ourselves in competitions.” And about those who advocate a boycott of the Olympic Games, she said: “These are sick people.”
The IOC Executive Committee at its meeting on January 25 advocated the return of athletes from Russia and Belarus to international competitions in a neutral status. At the same time, the organization proposes not to allow athletes who actively support SVO in the public field in Ukraine.
