Tambov HC “Derzhava” won the Interuniversity Ice Hockey Tournament for the prizes of the Governor of the Orel Region. Tambov team beat their rivals in all three matches.
HC “Derzhava” won with a score of 6:3 against “MADI-motors” from the Moscow Automobile and Road State Technical University. With a score of 11:0, the Tambov hockey players defeated the OrelGU team from the Oryol State University named after I.S. Turgenev. And then they won against hockey players from the Smolensk State University of Sports “SGUS” with a score of 12:0.
The participants of the “Derzhava” also deserved individual awards. Dmitry Lysikov became the best goalkeeper, Daniil Polovnikov became the best forward, and Pavel Averyanov became the best scorer.
Currently, Tambov residents are preparing for the “Opening Cup”, which will be held on September 26-30 in St. Petersburg.
