Tambov boxers distinguished themselves at the All-Russian tournament

The All-Russian boxing tournament for the prizes of the USSR Master of Sports Valery Ledovskikh ended in Tambov, in which about 150 boxers aged 15-16 years from different regions of the country took part.
Based on the results of the competition, local athletes won seven awards of various denominations.
Ilya Khabarov, who competed in the weight category up to 57 kg, rose to the highest step of the podium. Second places were taken by his fellow countrymen Matvey Medvedev (up to 46 kg), Yaroslav Bykov (up to 66 kg) and Alexey Gorbatov (up to 70 kg), and the top three were completed by Tambov residents Vasily Komarov (up to 52 kg), Maxim Lebedev (up to 54 kg ) and Daniil Strygin (up to 63 kg).
