Tambov bakery began production of drones for the needs of the Northern Military District

Employees of JSC “Tambov Khlebokombinat” began the production of quadrocopters for the needs of a special military operation (SVO). A workshop was assigned to the production of quadrocopters at the bakery. The bakery buys some components for drones, and prints some on a 3D printer. The products produced at the plant were named after the snipe bird, as it is a “difficult target for a hunter.”

The Tambov bakery regularly reports on the dispatch of various assistance to military personnel in the NVO zone. The enterprise gave them its own products, medicines, personal hygiene products and warm clothes, and later participated in the purchase of coded radios, thermal imagers, binoculars, diesel generators, gas cylinders, equipment and sleeping bags.

Alexander Rudik, deputy director of the enterprise, said that the military had been asking to send quadrocopters since last year: “We tried to design it ourselves – from parts that can be found in any online store. They made several copies, brought them to the front, and tested them there. We lost one drone, received valuable comments, and upon returning we finalized the design and began mass production, while reducing costs wherever possible.” According to the company, the cost of own quadrocopters is 25-50 thousand rubles. depending on characteristics.
