The leadership of Synergy University and the Ministry of Internal Affairs identified six students who received false certificates of study at the university in order to delay mobilization. The data of these students was transferred to law enforcement agencies and military commissars. Today, October 17, earlier the court arrested three employees of Synergy, who provided a certificate of deferment for 180 thousand rubles.

“As a result of an inspection initiated by the leadership of the Synergy University and carried out jointly with law enforcement agencies, six persons were identified who used the services of fraudsters and received fictitious certificates of deferment from conscription for partial mobilization. The data of these six persons were transferred by the university to law enforcement agencies for a procedural decision, as well as to the military commissariats. In total, 800 personal files of first-year students were handed over to law enforcement agencies for verification by Synergy University,” university website.

Court arrested three employees of the selection committee under the article “fraud” (part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Grigory Chmelev and Dmitry Kucherev were given house arrest, Andrei Zabavin was taken into custody in a pre-trial detention center.
