Swimmers from the Zaporozhye region will take part in a patriotic swim in Sevastopol

Athletes – swimmers from new regions of Russia will take part in a patriotic swim in Sevastopol.
On May 4, 2024, the city will host the patriotic swim “Victory Banners,” dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
In addition to participating in the sporting event, activists of Sevastopol winter swimming clubs, veterans of the USSR Armed Forces, as well as athletes from the Kherson, Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions will lay fresh flowers at the obelisk to the defenders and liberators of Balaklava.
As previously reported, this is not the first time such swims have taken place on the peninsula – the previous one took place in December 2023.
