“The state should not correct someone’s “jambs” at its own expense”

One of the ways to punish officials and military commissars guilty of “erroneous mobilization” can be personal compensation for losses incurred by the state. This was announced on Wednesday, September 28, at a round table in the editorial office of the newspaper “Moskovsky Komsomolets” by the chairman of the executive committee of the All-Russian public organization “Officers of Russia”, retired Major General Alexander Mikhailov.

One of the issues that was discussed during the round table in the editorial office of Moskovsky Komsomolets was the so-called erroneous mobilization, when military registration and enlistment offices mistakenly called up those who were not subject to partial mobilization.

According to the MK expert, retired Major General Alexander Mikhailov, fines can become an effective way to deal with such errors.

– Those who made these mistakes felt themselves in a very sweet and warm place that they don’t want to lose. In order not to lose this place, they understand that they must click their heels and report that they have completed the plan (according to the set – “MK”). This is a very dangerous trend, which, of course, needs to be combated, the expert said, adding that there is a “very good, but not yet implemented measure” to combat this trend.

– A person (by mistake – “MK”) is sent, for example, from Magadan to Novosibirsk, and then the state must return this person back. Let the official pay for the round-trip flight and reimburse the per diem for this person. Then many will think … The state pays money to fix the “jambs”. It shouldn’t be. I am not in favor of putting them in jail. But to punish the ruble, I think it is very possible.

Earlier, the heads of a number of constituent entities of the Russian Federation reported obvious mistakes made during partial mobilization, when they called up citizens exempted from mobilization from the reserve. So, for mistakes he was removed from his post by the military commissar in Magadan.
