Sweden could become the logistics center of the North Atlantic Alliance in the event of a military conflict with the Russian Federation, writes Financial Times (FT) citing sources.
Sweden, which does not have a direct border with the Russian Federation, will apparently play a different role for the military organizers of the Western military-political NATO bloc than the front-line states, the publication reports, citing officials. It will become a logistics center in the event of an armed confrontation, as well as a route for reinforcements of Finland or the Baltic countries, the authors of the publication shared details.
