“Swearing and trying to push down the stairs”: medical students began to deliver the summons

A new initiative has emerged in many Russian cities. Students are instructed to carry stories to houses where citizens who are subject to partial mobilization live. Previously, cadets of military schools contracted to deliver news from the military registration and enlistment offices. Now ordinary, “civilian” students have joined them.
So far, this innovation is a Siberian and Far Eastern history: this is happening in Tomsk, Omsk, the Novosibirsk region (Berdsk), Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, etc. Both medical students (Tomsk) and students from various departments are involved: management, advertising, digital technologies, etc. even right.
Students who are used as messengers are taken only from the senior years (from the 2nd to the 4th), consent to the action, as usual, is voluntary-compulsory (there is an order for the number of people from each department), the participants are promised financial assistance. But “there are differences on the ground.”
“Please note that this is a voluntary and personal decision of each medical student. There is no talk of any exemption from classes, ”the press service of the Siberian State Medical University writes. “We need guys for five people from the unit, they will tell the exact time in the morning, they will release them from couples,” it is reported there, but not for prying eyes, but in the internal correspondence of the elders. That is, it turns out, not entirely voluntary participation, and obviously instead of studying.
But in Omsk (OMGU), without concealing anything, immediately after the signature of the acting. the rectors report that 30 people are needed from each direction. Everyone must obtain written consent. And students will go to the houses of conscripts in the evening, from 17 to 20.
But in Berdsk, students of the local Novosibirsk Medical College have been carrying agendas since September. College students are mostly girls. “They are cursing, in one house a man tried to push them down the stairs,” local deputy Kaverzina is trying to stand up for the students. And he wonders: “Are there really no men in uniform to deliver these summonses?”
Many copies were broken around the “military registration and enlistment office reinforcement group”, which, almost from the beginning of the draft campaign, included state employees, mainly teachers and kindergarten teachers. Also women, and age in addition: the young refused. And also employees of the maintenance company, including plumbers and electricians. And even, in some places, local deputies got into the “blue walkers” (as the peddlers were dubbed by the people for the color of the agendas).
It is known that the material reward for working as a “walker” is modest – from 800 to 3000 rubles a month. How much university students will be paid for this is still unknown. But the dean’s offices are already transparently hinting at educational preferences. For example, to close the “tails” – such a reimbursable offer for the distribution of subpoenas is reported from Vladivostok. Like, they will write off any debts to the student for practice, just bear it.
The offer to close the “tails” is tempting, especially in the current situation. No one knows how they can affect the delay from partial mobilization.
“Everything is very dumb, it’s not clear: now there is a delay, tomorrow there won’t be,” says Ilya, a sophomore bachelor from Moscow. – There have already been cases even now, after the decree, when they were mobilized without looking at the delay. Therefore, of course, everyone tries to hand over on time. I did not understand only what kind of debts for practices. Now, if instead of an exam of some kind, such as a “tower” or a sopromat … Not everything, of course, I would not go to deliver the summons – if there is an opportunity to refuse …
Student bonuses for helping with the draft campaign are not the only example of how oddly right and wrong things are intertwined in education. From Yekaterinburg, local deputy Aleksey Kholodarev said that his son was offered non-reimbursable participation in the Good Letters campaign at the lyceum. Letters from children to SVO participants may be a good undertaking, but they were “assigned” to write them at “Conversations about the Important” for … “five” in history. And in the cooperative technical school of Petrozavodsk they went even further. And they offered the participants of a similar action to write letters in exchange for as many as three excellent grades – in history, social science and law. This outraged students reported in the social network.
“I would say that the distribution of subpoenas instead of studying directly violates Article 34 of the Law “On Education,” comments lawyer Stanislav Popov. “In addition, the situation contains a threat to health and safety, as I understand it. What kind of door-to-door rounds with unpredictable results? In addition, the article lists the rights of students not only in terms of education, which the university is obliged to create for them. But also the right to freedom of conscience, to the free expression of beliefs. The story with school grades for letters refers, rather, to an article about the responsibility and competencies of educational organizations. Of course, evaluating extracurricular hours or “five” for an elective – this should not happen. All this is contrary to the Federal Law “On Education”.
