The press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation commented on messages from social networks that spoke of the resignation of the director of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin.
According to representatives of the SVR, the service does not comment on “idle fiction.”
Recall that on Wednesday, January 11, Sergei Naryshkin will take part in the opening of a memorial plaque in Moscow in honor of the legendary illegal intelligence officers, the married couple Morris (1910-1995) and Leontina (1913-1992) Cohen, who provided the Soviet leadership with important data on the US nuclear program and the UK missile program.
The memorial plaque will be installed on the facade of the building at 2/6 Bolshaya Bronnaya Street, where the Cohens lived for more than twenty years.
