SVO participants in the Amur region will be relocated from emergency housing

According to the decree of the government of the Amur region, SVO participants and their families will be relocated from emergency housing in the area of ​​the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM). This decision was made to provide housing for citizens who participated in a special military operation in the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions of Ukraine, as well as for family members of the deceased participants of the North Military District, writes TASS.

The list of settlements in which people subject to resettlement live includes 19 settlements in the Amur region, including the city of Tynda, Tynda and Zeya municipal districts, as well as the Selemdzhinsky district. These territories are located in the passage zone of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, which extends through the Irkutsk and Amur regions, Trans-Baikal and Khabarovsk territories, as well as Buryatia and Yakutia.

The right to resettlement will be available to Russian citizens who participated in the SVO or close relatives of deceased soldiers, and who were included by local governments in the lists of emergency housing.

The resettlement of private SVO residents and their families from emergency housing stock to new housing on the BAM will help improve their living conditions and provide a comfortable living environment.

BAM is one of the largest railway lines in Russia. Its construction began in the late 1930s, but the main work began in 1974, when the highway was declared an all-Union Komsomol shock construction project. Today, BAM plays an important role in the development of the economy and communications between the regions of Siberia and the Far East.
