Svetlana Morgunova’s funeral turned out to be modest: no funeral tent, no fans

At the Troyekurovskoye cemetery they say goodbye to Svetlana Morgunova. Of the stars, Igor Krutoy, Klara Novikova and Alexander Peskov came to see off the TV presenter on her final journey.
The ceremony looks, to put it mildly, low-key. No funeral tent and only a few fans. Even the onlookers, who usually don’t miss star funerals, didn’t come. There are few journalists.
The cemetery employee was surprised: “It’s very modest, there’s not a canopy, they didn’t lay out a path, they didn’t bring wreaths in advance.”
A narrow path buried in mud leads to the TV presenter’s grave. It would have been impossible to get to the burial if it had not been partially covered with spruce branches.
Closer to 15.00, a table for the coffin was placed near the grave and covered with a black cloth. A couple of metal chairs were placed nearby.
About 30 people gathered at the farewell ceremony for Svetlana Morgunova at the Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
