Sverdlovsk rescuer became world champion

An employee of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Sverdlovsk Region Karina Bochkareva became the world champion. She won a gold medal in the “fire relay” as part of the Russian team at the IX Women’s World Championship in fire and rescue sports.
Competitions are held in Istanbul. Teams from 20 countries take part in the championship.
According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region, Karina Bochkareva ran in the first stage of the competition – overcoming the house.
The winner of the competition – the Russian team – finished with a score of 58.61 seconds. The world record is 58.40 seconds.
Last year, MK-Ural reported that Karina Bochkareva won a silver medal at the competition in fire and rescue sports, which was held in Uzbekistan.
The vice-champion works in the 54th fire and rescue unit of the 2nd fire and rescue squad of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations as an inspector. The fire brigade is based in Nizhny Tagil.
