Suvorov hosts the summer regional sports contest for the disabled

In Suvorov, on May 26, the Summer Regional Spartakiade of the Disabled started, in which 200 para-athletes from 12 municipalities of the Tula Region take part.
Within the framework of the event, competitions are held in four nosological groups: sports for people with lesions of the musculoskeletal system, sports for the blind, sports for the deaf and sports for people with intellectual disabilities.
The Spartakiad is attended by 17 teams competing in various sports, including darts, table tennis, checkers, wheelchair biathlon, kettlebell lifting, tug of war, athletics and basketball hoop throws.
